1 week to go and..

Sill not a happy bunny with HMG,

Part of the conditions of surgery is that a responsible person has to collect you from hospital and escort you home. HMG have the right to cancel the procedure if this is not complied with and all resultant cost and cancelation charges will apply.

Very sensible and wise.

1 week to go and my responsible person backs out and can no longer collect me... arrrg!

What to do, what to do, I'll phone my nurse councillor, she will be able to advise help.
I no longer have anyone to pick me up after surgery, any suggestions?

If I turn up they could cancel the surgery?
"Yes that a possibility, you will need to find someone to collect you."

Getting the distinct impression HMG don't give a $%@*, they have my money, goodbye

"There is a private chauffeur car that we have used in the past, they might be able to help"

Will that be classed as a responsible person by the hospital?

Fine, I'll have to sort something out, stressed out as I am, thank you for all you help.

Was trying to keep this surgery to myself, but will have to ask family now, Hi mum and BTW can you collect me from Manchester after my nose surgery?
"Nose surgery? what what what?, when? next week? you should have said!"

Oh well, least that that sorted.
