Bored

So it's now 10 days post op... What's new, not a lot.

Managed to get the biggest clot of blood out of the left nostril, felt like I was in heaven after !
Was quite a bit of yellow gunk also, lots of cotton buds n salt water cleaned all that up.
Had no advice from the ps or clinic that I should clean the clots out, then again with the service I've had from Harley Medical so far, it's no surprise.

Had to leave the house twice in last 2 days... So fed up with people looking at me and asking wtf I had done.
Lost track of the lies I told, ranging from being a thug n fighting, falling off a ladder at work, (where there's blame there's a claim!) to a freak jet ski accident on holiday. If only my life was that exciting :/

Still feel like its a bit of a taboo subject admitting to having a nose job and having people thinking what a shallow vein self centred person you are.

Gonna be another 4 days till the cast comes off ! This is killing me.
1- the constant pressure on my nose combined with the sticky glue it's stuck on with is enough to drive any person insane
2- being really impatient and needing to see the end result, am I gonna like it or not.
Why I have to wait 14 days with it on my face, who can say. All the google and forums say around 7 days is the norm.
I'm not normal !

Now thinking of taking it off myself, what's the worse that could happen?
What to do, what to do, what to do.

Don't look at me

Day 7 post op
Visit to the clinic today, which by the way is a 32 mile round trip.
Was hoping the yellow umpalumpa look would have gone away by today but no such luck.
Lots of concealer latter and I looked like a £1 tranny after a hard night on the gin. This will not do at all, I cost a lot more than £1 !
A quick wash, run over with a bit of bronzer, that will do.
Must have been in the clinic all of 10 minutes. The best comment made was "omg can't believe how bruised you are. Look it goes all the way down. "
"OK so we'll see you next week for your cast off. Thank you for coming. Goodbye "
I've really just spent 2 hours driving, frightening the public for this non-clinic chat?

Anyway onto today's photo.

The face of many colours

Omg I have the most beautiful rainbow going on with my face.
So much for the arnica. I don't think the bruising could have been any worse.

Lesson to learn - Do not trust homeopathic clap trap remedies !

Not been out of the house yet, dare not show the face in public. Off to the clinic tomorrow for a check up, hopefully not scaring too many motorists on the way.
Think plenty of concealer and bronzer is going to be the order of the day.

Cast still staying on for another week, kind of glad about that as the nose is still quite tender so if the nurse touches it I won't be the only one in the clinic tomorrow with a black eye.
